THOMAS P. CAMPBELL
Former Partner - Retired

Thomas P. Campbell was born and raised in Saskatoon.  He attended the University of Saskatchewan, receiving a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1975 and a Bachelor of Law Degree in 1978.  He practiced law in Kamsack, Saskatchewan with the late Orest Rosowsky, Q.C. from 1978 to 2007 and has been a partner with the Leland Campbell Kondratoff Persick LLP law firm since January 1, 2008.

As a general practitioner, Tom has appeared at all levels of Court in Saskatchewan on both criminal and civil matters.  He has represented both the Crown and the Defence, having been a “fee for service” agent of the Attorney General for approximately 11 years early in his career.  He has also made numerous appearances in the Federal Court, Trial Division and successfully appealed a Revenue Canada assessment in the Tax Court of Canada.  He has appeared many times in the Provincial Court of Manitoba on criminal matters and once in the Manitoba Queen’s Bench Court on a civil matter involving an estate.  He has conducted a 4 week trial in the Ontario High Court and successfully opposed an appeal in the Ontario Superior Court.

Tom has been a member of the Saskatchewan Trial Lawyers Association since 1988, holding the position of District Governor from 1990 to 1994.  He was elected a Bencher of the Law Society of Saskatchewan in 2006 for a 3 year term and re-elected by acclamation for a second 3 year term in 2009.  He has been Chair of the Professional Standards Committee and Vice Chair of the Ethics Committee.

From January 2013 to February 2018, Tom was a Complaints Designate Counsel for the Law Society of Saskatchewan.

​

Tom is a past President of the Kamsack & District Lions Club and a past Grand Knight and District Deputy for the Knights of Columbus.  He was one of seven Saskatchewan delegates elected to represent the Province at an international convention in Denver, Colorado.  He is a past Co-chairman of the Kamsack Regional Recreation Complex Committee, served 3 years on the Kamsack Housing Authority Board and was elected to the Divisional Board of Trustees for Kamsack School Division No. 35 for two 3 year terms.

Tom is currently easing into retirement.
